Hi Mom and Dad!

This past week was really good here! It's been kind of crazy, haha, but it's all been a good crazy.

We were able to meet with the former investigator I told you about last week and he's awesome! He's been reading, and he even said that he's had some 'experiences,' with the Book of Mormon... like how Nephi had to leave his home and go somewhere new and unfamiliar. So that was really exciting to hear. I love it when other people start realizing how awesome the Book of Mormon is. He also agreed to a baptismal date, so hopefully that can happen.

Another investigator came to church yesterday for the first time, so that was exciting too! We met him knocking on doors a couple of weeks ago. We were able to meet with him after, and he's great. Funny story, we asked him how his reading of the Book of Mormon was going, and it turns out he hasn't read it yet, but only because he gave it to a friend that he thought needed it more. How awesome is that?! That's the best excuse I've ever heard for not reading the Book of Mormon! He's really cool, we're meeting with him this week again.

We went down to TaiDong on Friday for Specialized Training, and that was really fun. Normally they just do it here in HuaLien, but for some reason they switched it up and we got to go down to TaiDong for the first time, so that was exciting. President and Sister Day and the Assistants were all there, so it was good to see them.

Companions, heading to Zone Conference :)

We were also able to find a lot of new investigators this past week, and were even able to meet with some of them more than once. We met with one girl Saturday night, and she even brought her friend with her. They are both about 26, with not really any religious background, but they really liked the message. We mainly just did a get to know them/CPR lesson, but they just kept saying how cool prophets and scriptures sounded and how cool Christ's life sounded. It was really cute. Hopefully they can start coming to church as well.

It's weird that this is the last week of yet another transfer. The 25 new missionaries who were supposed to come in this week have visa problems, so that's disappointing. Especially since so many missionaries are heading home this week. But it's ok, they'll get here soon hopefully.

Well I love you Mom and Dad!
