Hi Mom and Dad!

General Conference was awesome! We did get to watch all of the sessions, and they were all amazing. I really liked Elder Holland's talk, and also Elder Bednar's. And Elder Ucthdorf's talk in the Women's Broadcast was really good too.

Last Monday was a SUPER fun P-day! Wu Yu Wen from DanShui came to visit, and she brought another member with her, and it was so fun! We had delicious curry for lunch, and then had cake on the beach to celebrate Yu Wen's birthday. I'll send you some pictures later. It was so good to see her. She's such a miracle. I can't believe it's been almost a year since we met her.

It was really satisfying to meet all those goals last week, haha. It was like we had been working so hard at it, and we finally got to hit it. It was cool this past week too because we were actually able to hit well over our goal for member present lessons! So that was exciting too.

All of our investigators are doing really good. Unfortunately, none of them came to church, but they're still improving. We met with J--  yesterday, and even though she didn't come to church, she's definitely developing a testimony of the Book of Mormon. We followed up with her on her reading, and she said that sometimes it feels like "they're talking right to me," and how she reads it when she needs to feel happy again. She's feeling the Spirit so much! Every time she comes into the chapel to meet with us she says how she suddenly has this warm, happy feeling that she didn't have before. She's really progressing, it's cool to be able to see.

We were also able to find a former investigator from about 8 years ago.  We had spent some time calling 'formers', and were able to call him, and he has interest!  It was a miracle to find him. He's such a great guy. We're excited for him.

We were also FINALLY able to meet with one of our recent converts and have TWO peikes, one of which was the branch president, haha. We told him earlier in the day that we were meeting with him, and he asked if he could come too! So of course we said yes! We were able to watch one of the talks from General Conference, the one about staying on the boat (another one of my favorites), and it really seemed to help him. He hasn't been to church in a few weeks, but I think it really hit him and he felt the Spirit.

Another super cool miracle is our other investigator. We found out last week that she's actually in the Elders area, so we introduced her to them, and they were going to keep meeting with her, but we still text her every so often and just check in. Well, she just got this job at a bakery, which makes it so she can't come to church :( BUT, she called us last night, and told us that she has an interview TODAY for a new job, and this new job would let her have Saturday and Sunday off. So she called us and asked us to pray for her! How awesome is that! For one, she thought to call us :) And two, it shows she believes in the power of prayer. And three, it shows she wants to come to church! So, I really, really, really hope she gets it. I've been so blessed to meet so many amazing people on my mission.

Missionary life is still pretty awesome, haha. It's exhausting as usual, but it's just so satisfying. The weather is cooling down too lately, so that's nice. It's not quite as hot, haha. And HuaLien has pretty good wind that comes in from the ocean, so it's nice :)

Well, I love you! I'll send pictures soon. Have a great week!

Love,
Sister George
