"Therefore, O ye that embark in the service of God, see that ye serve him with all your heart, might, mind and strength, that ye may stand blameless before God at the last day."

Hi Mom and Dad!

Sorry it's so late in the afternoon...or night I should say. We have been making 'yue bing' (moon cakes) all day with some members. It's 'Zhong Qiu Jie' right now, Mid- Autumn Festival, so the members were teaching us how to make some delicious foods. We were only planning on it taking about 3 hours...haha, but that's ok. They are delicious! And it'll go perfect for our English party this Wednesday night! We're eating lots of 'yue bing' and 'you zi', haha, it's fun. I love celebrating the holidays here.

Last week was really good though. It went by really fast, as normal. Haha, the weeks are going by faster and faster. Having Wu Jei Mei (Angel) come to visit was SUPER fun. She's thinking of going on a full-time mission! I'm so excited for her. It probably won't be for a while, but I'm so excited. It's crazy to think how far she has come since we met her in DanShui last October.

We had Zone Training Meeting last Tuesday and that was really good. A lot about the Book of Mormon, prayer, and going to church (CPR) and the role that plays in our life and the lives of investigators. So it was a good meeting.

We had one HUGE miracle...we got to meet with one lady that we met last week, and 1, it was a miracle because she actually showed up, haha. And 2, because she TOTALLY felt the Spirit, and she recognized it. We basically just did a getting to know you and CPR lesson, and then at the end she asked if she could see the chapel. So we took her up to the third floor and went into the chapel, and she just stood there for a couple minutes and was finally like "This feeling, it's reverent. It's a completely different feeling than the outside is." So we were able to explain about the Spirit, and she's awesome. It's going to be hard for her to come to church, but it was just such a cool lesson. I'm so thankful for the Spirit, and how strong it was in that chapel.

Another miracle was meeting with one of our members. She was going to come with us to teach a lesson, but then our investigator cancelled so we just got to meet with her, and it turns out that is exactly what she needed! It was so cool! We hadn't prepared anything to share with her so we were just talking about how life is lately, and it turns out she's been having a really hard time with some stuff, and we were able to help her out with that. She said herself that we were God's answer for her. It was really cool. Sometimes it amazes me how much people trust missionaries...but it's really cool that they do trust us that much. I'm just glad that God always qualifies who he calls.

All of our other investivators are doing about the same. We've been having a hard time meeting with some of them since school has started, and we've also been having a really hard time finding members to go with us to lessons (since over half the people we meet with are men, we need them to go with us). So that's been a little rough lately. But we're working on it. The members are great though. We have a really good relationship with them.

Well, I can't really think about anything much else that happened last week. Pretty much the same, and just getting back into the routine of things. I'll attach some pictures soon :)

I love you Mom and Dad! Have a great week :)
