Hi
Mom and Dad!
Happy
New Year! It's crazy to think that it's already 2015. Time flies by so fast.
This past week was good though! Lots of crazy awesome things happened.
So
the craziest and coolest and biggest miracle . . . .A-- is getting baptized Saturday!
That is by far the BIGGEST miracle of probably my entire mission. She is
so prepared, and she has just been waiting for her parents permission...and her
Mom signed the form! So the service is this Saturday at 7, and she's excited while also being nervous. I'm
so excited and happy for her. She was originally going to be baptized on
the 17th, but then she found out that transfer day is the 16th, and she wanted
to make sure all of us missionaries are there, so now it's this Saturday :) I'm so stoked.
Another miracle was having so many people (investigators and less actives) show up to church yesterday. One LA came that we have been trying to meet with
since October and haven't been able to, so that was especially exciting. I love
it when people come to church!
We went up to Taibei on Friday for Missionary
Leadership Council and that was really fun. It was good to be up there. This
past week a lot of missionaries went home (including my old companion Sister
Tracy) so that was weird. They weren't really supposed to go home until January
16th, but because of school starting they all
had to go home last week.
New Years was pretty normal, but fun. It was just a normal
day of work, but then at night we went up to our roof from 10-10:20 and saw some of the fireworks/parties going on at the night market. It
was really fun. There's a huge night market by the beach, and since we live
near the beach, we could hear all of it, haha. We just drank our hot chocolate
and talked. And then of course all of the fireworks woke us up at midnight and it was super loud and annoying, haha.
Well,
nothing other than that really happened this past week, just a normal week :)
A-- being able to get baptized is such a miracle! I'll send pictures next
week :)
I
love you Mom and Dad!
I'll
send pictures soon.
Have
a good week :)
Love,
Sister
George
